Is it me or does it seem like these authors no longer know anything about the world they created. They left the Dragonlance series and came back and it feels like they are screwing things up. I read the War of Souls and was like "Wow this would be great except, you didn't even read Jean Rabes books that pretty much makes a good part of your story impossible!" Just got the Amber Chroncles books and was like "Weis can screw this up again. I notice that the Minotaurs are calling Sargas, Sargonese. . .that's a Krynn minotaur no no. Then there is a kender that says "Aren't you afraid I'll steal something." Kender don't steal. . .They barrow!! RAAAAAAAAAWR! Attachments:

I think its pretty clear that people rarely seem to produce quality, because the demand only seems to be for quantity.
As far as Weis/Hickman goes it wouldn't matter either way to me. I felt the same when Dicky went off the deep end about WoW's lore getting mettled with.
Meh. I figured you guys would be used to disappointment by now. This is one reason I am glad you are writing your own material now. Gives me hope that there could be some quality brushing under my nose in the future. Especially since I continue to fail at producing my own pieces for now.

I like to think I can usually keep my details straight in my world, or I can over ride past judgments with new revelations.
Aaaaah the book now has a paladin!! There's no pallys in Krynn!! The knights of Solomnia (can't spell) are that worlds replacement for a pally.
Ya. I guess this make me glad George R R Martin has been working on his newest book since 2007. I now can deal with that.
