Right, so today in Class we are, once again, learning nothing.
To me, this clearly shows the downfall and the faults of our educational system. . .
Clearly, Bush's (No child Left Behind) act is working. As we are going no where. Can't fall behind if the class doesn't move. 30+ students are on forums, myspace, or playing video games. . . I love it. . .

So today is the last day before Christmas break. Once again, just like every other day, we are fooling around doing nothing. I love school, I screw around for 6+ hours with friends.

Or do as I did, go get the damn certificate and stop wasting time. If public school has nothing to offer, no matter how hard you look (cause I'm sure you looked so hard) find another way. Regardless of your supposed younger years retardation, a smart person is in there somewhere. Just because you have already made plans for your future does not mean you should allow your time to be so easily wasted now.
I'm just saying, hanging with your friends is great and all, but something tells me that the purpose for public education was something else. And as little faith as I have in our particular school system, I am certain something was there that could have cured this boredom and chaos that you simply opted out of.
Bitching about the system without fighting to change it leaves a worse system in your wake. I fought, I lost, but hey, I was told the school has a role play group now, so there's a little win.

I took 4 extra classes this year. I have 3-5 extra credits. I'm required to do a Math class, civics, and an English class. I took a shit load of electives so I could pass the time. . . I love Human Bio-tech, a CSI class. I actually learn in that class, but I have yet to learn in any other class as the teachers must teach a slow rate. I've pretty much just taken my school books home and read them myself.
I'm an 'A' student, I can't do any better. I skip school, I come back to find my 'A' still stands. Its not the teachers faults, I have Convo's with my teachers all the time. They are required to go slow and keep the class together. If one person is having problems, the whole class needs to stop, slow down, and wait for them to catch up. It use to be, if a child sucked, he got an F. But because of the "no child left behind" the teachers have to slow shit down and make sure every student is "doing their best."
Which sucks because its my Math Class(Which everyone is required to take) that we are stuck with people like me, who are already a chapter ahead, then we have the other half who are retarded druggies who only come to school because their parole officer will slap them one if they don't show up. Those ahead must stop, since the teacher can't test only us, he has to test us all at the same time, then send those grades into the school. Aka, Home Logic. So pretty much, we are sitting around, thumbs up our asses, playing around on Google and youtube until we have permission to go on.
As for leaving school early, no can do. I need a High School diploma in order to start up my Basic Training. Air force will not accept anything less. The only thing better is if I had a 4 year degree in something. Its either Airman, or Officer, when joining. Gatta do well on ASVAB, 50 +
Green Castle does the Early diploma, but Cashs does not from the sounds of it. Plus as I said, I enjoy school for my friends, not for the education since it has none to offer.
I talked to my Recruiter, they accept a "certificate" but since they are not looking for new recruits, they FIND a reason to remove you if you do not have a diploma or a 4+ year degree.

Plus, I'm in the Soft book program. I signed on in the summer. Saying I'm a High School student. Since I sign on so early, I choose 4 jobs, I will get one of them. I got My intel job, So I'm happy.
No only, I wish to do Collage while in the air force so I can sign on to do Officers Training as well. High School Diploma helps with that too.
I'm an Ego Maniac, I wanna get as far as I can, lie, cheat, steal and stab my way to the top.

I do get all that. I do. I just see these little things on here and think back to when I was there. And I also think to when you say about not liking to waste time. And then, I just really want to say something because being a no-career-based individual, I of course have something to say about everything. Commentator of life so to speak.
I truly do understand your position. This all is exactly why I am seriously considering home school for the majority of my kids' education. It pays me, and it affords them exactly what they need to learn from, and chances are they will get a proper diploma earlier than possible. The only they will be lacking early on is a large social structure...which is the ONLY reason I would ever consider not home schooling. I'm not even looking for a better school, because you end up paying more for those.
Just sayin.

Besides, if I didn't comment, I would never have learned all that you had to say in your last post. Before that I sort of pictured a large, concrete zoo, with no locks on the cages but an understanding that someone else will show up to gawk at you at a certain time if you do the same in return.
Oh yeah, and cheap, timely lunch is nice too I suppose.

Well now that we know you are learning when not around the dumb people, it just seemed that you where going and dealing with a what little you had to.
I am some what surprised that you have not tired to get into the air force academy, seeing as its faster to gain power that way, but you are smart enough to make your own choices (for the most part).
