You are about to become the next character someone plays in a role-playing game.
Pick three settings to play in and build yourself with an appropriate template. Now don't think that this makes you a "nerfed" character. Build it up into something that meets a natural starting level character in your selected game.
Rules: 1) you must choose three different settings. For instance; world of darkness is one setting, within which you find sub-categories. Get the idea? (if you lack experience in enough settings, ask for help, and hopefully we can teach you something new.)
2) you must demonstrate your personality within the character. Example: Dave's vice is wrath, because it's not unusual to see his destructive short temper get the better of him.
3) you must select at least one player who would be challenged by playing "you" in this situation.
4) optional: create a storyline or hook that would truly captivate one of these characters.
5) optional: ask the person you picked to play "you" to come up with a storyline/hook as well, or an interesting background to fit "you" into the setting you've chosen.
Have fun!

Stat sheets are not necessary, but if you have the energy for it, Rock on!
I encourage those that see this to alert others who don't post much to take part.
Also, if you guys want to add any more to the challenge, please do, or create your own.

Setting #1: World of Darkness: Vampire
Clan: Daeva Covenant: Unaligned
Attributes (from strongest to weakest) - Resolve, Dexterity, Wits, Intelligence, Stamina, Manipulation, Composure, Presence, Strength
Skills (strongest to weakest) - Social, Mental, Physical Specialties in Academics, Crafts, Animal Ken, Expression
Merits: Eidetic Memory, Common Sense, Contacts
Disciplines: Majesty, Celerity
Flaws: Aloof
Virtue: Hope Vice: Wrath
For someone who was so intrigued in vampire lore, legends, and stories, Stepheni never thought she would actually become one. After all, everyone knew that vampires were purely fiction and myth, right?
Stepheni is a newly embraced Kindred who, despite her "knowledge" of the undead, still has a lot to learn. Her biggest challenge will be learning to let go of her mortal ties. Could her family and friends understand and even accept her new unlife? Actually, it's quite possible, but she's not willing to risk their safety, something she wishes her loved ones would come to terms with. She's been found seven times in the past five years by her husband and now 6 year old son. Each time, saying goodbye is harder than the last, only because she feels less emotion with time she must do so.
God, the light is blinding now that this veil has been lifted...

Setting #2: Dungeons & Dragons (edition of your choice)
Race: Human Class: Ranger/Bard Animal Companion: Dog
Feats: Animal Affinity, Negotiator
The daughter of a farmer, Stepheni grew up amongst animals. It was only natural that she felt comfortable around them, sometimes more than people. Yet she longed for more than what she could ever have by just staying home and becoming some other farmer's wife. So one day she left home, along with her faithful dog Xander, and joined up to travel with a performing troupe to the nearby city. In the three weeks time it took to arrive at the city, she had become close friends with one of the young men of the troupe. They spent much of their off-time together once in the city during the troupe's month-long stay. The day before the caravan was set to leave for the next city, the young man asked her to come with them, to be with him. She happily accepted, but it turned out to be the last day they saw each other.
That night, as she walked back to the inn to her room, she passed a neighboring room where she heard hushed voices speaking angrily. Curiosity got the better of her and she pressed her ear to the door. What she overheard was a plan to assassinate the king, as well as a number of his favored nobles. The door suddenly jerked open and she was caught eavesdropping. She ran as fast as she could to the town guard, hoping to save not only her own life, but those of the royal and noble families. The captain of the guard heard her plea for help and agreed to hold her in one of the cells, for her own safety. She was relieved until one of the guards came to escort her out. He snuck her out to the edge of town and explained that the captain was in on the assassination plot and was merely holding her there until she could be "dealt with." The guard urged her to run, to find someone who could warn the king and would protect her.
She has yet to find that person and her list of enemies grows with each person she confides her mission to. It seems as if her only option is to plea to the king's personal guard, or even the king himself.

Suggestions for setting #3?

setting number one: DnD 4e
swordmage 4E (or Ranger/Wizard hybrid 4E)
Stats, highest to lowest:
Int Str Con Dex Wis Cha
Trained skills: Arcana dungeoneering streetwise Endurance
Chris is unique among his fellow swordmages. Where they focus on combining magical and physical prowess into one weapon, he hones each as two seperate, unique weapons to use in battle. Not that he cares what the other's think. His quest is to continually get stronger and learn more. He is not a scholar, but is just as often caught reading as he is caught practicing his swrordplay. His battle tactics use a wide variety of abilities, from shock-and-awe tactics to sheer force of body (and mind.) He is outgoing and boisterous, but kind as well- he is the first to step in when something is unjust. his true downfall lies there: he can easily be tricked into working for someone if the person can show that the cause is righting an unjust action (even if it isn't.)
His past is not something he talks much about, nor his childhood. And he will point out to anyone who asks, directly or indirectly that they are 'personal matters best left alone.'
Person to play this character: Ben Fritz (hellzfirez92)

Setting number two: Mekton Zeta Plus (Realm: Gundam-esk)
stats from highest to lowest:
Int Empathy Tech ability Luck cool reflex body type Attractiveness Move allowance
Trained skills 'Mech piloting 'Mech gunnary 'Mech melee Rifles Handguns Support weapons 'Mech Tech Jury Rig Resist Drugs and Torture
Don't ask Chris to tell you his story. There isn't a story to tell. Some dirty Mobile Suit pilots razed the town he lived in as a kid for helping the enemy. He got out in time. Noone else did. That simple.
He now works with the Red Guard, Third Battalion. His job is to mop the floor with any idiot who tries to attack something in his sector. Get in his way, he will rip you apart, no questions asked. His Mobile Suit, the 300X, is just the suit for the job, too- Speed and enough guns to shread any target. Since joining the Red Guard, he has not been touched- 47 combat scenarios, and not one bullet, beam, or sword has connected with his MS. 'speed is power' is his motto.

Hook for setting one: His father is a noble that disdains magic in all its forms, and currently has hunters out for his 'fallen son' to bring him back and imprison him. Chris is steadily on the move, staying one step ahead of the hunters.
Hook for setting two: The Red Guard was the 'Dirty Mobile Suits' that razed the town. Chris and a friend from his childhood are now working on destroying the red guard from the inside- although they are taking different ways to do it, and don't know the other person survived.

@ Lady Masquerade: If you've played any of these, they might be fun: Mekton, Battletech/Mechwarrior, Rifts, or Mage.
I have an idea for my third setting, will be putting it up later today.
