Azeroth!
A land that needs little introduction awaits the birth of new ranks both to the Horde and Alliance banners.
Enter into over 80 levels of environments, teeming with dungeon crawls, fields, forests, keeps, cities, and conspiracies that stretch the map over and again as you play a part in three modes of play, possibly all in one sitting!
Here we'll see more of the crunch of numbers, PVP stats, builds, Arena teams, and gear grinding madness to peak levels of performance. We look forward to seeing our allies, and opponents on the great battlefield that is a World of Warcraft!

Hey everyone, I'm Atlantis... and I'm a WoW addict. I stretch my time over about 7 characters on Wyrmrest Accord, though only about 4 of them are my main focus. I've been playing since the end of July 07, when my husband (then-boyfriend) got me started by playing a hunter on his account. A week later he was helping me set up my own account with my new laptop that I had bought for student teaching semester. Of our circle of friends at that time, about 7 of us played, we were the Broken Axe Clan on Ravenholdt. Most of those friends got bored with WoW or gave it up to spend their $15 on more important things, only myself and 1 friend are left from that group (though now that friend's sister has started to play).
I'm still playing for the rps. I love TTrp (table top roleplay), but in the 3 years that I've been with my husband and his friends, we seem to have a hard time keeping an rp going for more than a few months. WoW feeds my need for rp, and its pretty constistant, so I don't plan on giving it up any time soon. (Though I do try every so often to cut back when the hubby starts complaining about me being on too much.)
If anyone else on here is from Wyrmrest, let me know, its nice to connect with friends ingame. And I might be bringing a few of my WoW friends to this forum, cause there are quite a few people in my guild that are TTrp fans. Even though they don't live locally and won't be able to join us for games, they can still join the forum discussions.

Just a little comic I found on deviantArt that pretty much sums up the difference in realms on WoW. I thought it was cute. posted on deviantArt by OceansAndrew

Give your thoughts on best or favorite class and specs.
Also, what about your ideal five man group? which role will you play?

I am probably always gonna be a Hunter at heart. So for me Orc, Hunter, Survival.
Ideal party: Druid Healer, Protection Paladin Tank, Assassin Rogue, Marksman Hunter, and Fire Mage as DPS.
I really don't own a role in my own ideal party, unless I dual spec my Hunter. But I feel this would be the best dungeon party, in my opinion.

I <3s my DPS classes. My first and favorite class will be rogue. Race doesn't matter too much in that regard, it just varies the way I RP. So far I've had a human and a Belf rogue. The human was my very first char on a PvE server, so she didn't see any RP at all.
Ideal party: Warrior tank, Priest healer, warlock dps, druid dps/Off tank/off healer, and then rogue or hunter. I think this balances out all the needs for the group and pseudo-eliminates fighting over the same piece of gear. (At higher lvls, warrior is looking for plate, warlock and priest are looking for cloth but hopefully with some diff stats, hunter is looking for mail, and then only druid and rogue are left to fight over same leather gear if they are going for the same stats.)
My favorite character to play both for questing and RP - Miazz, Orc Hunter, Beastmaster. She is still on Ravenholdt at the moment, but if any free transfers come up she is getting the heck outta there!! Can't wait til I can get all my characters off of PvP servers.
Currently playing on Ravenholdt (RPPvP), Wyrmrest Accord (RP), Moon Guard (RP). I still have my originals on Whisperwind (PvE) but hoping to transfer them to an RP realm too. Not willing to spend $25/char to move them, so they'll just have to wait until a free transfer comes up for them.

My namesake hunter is on Wyrmrest Accord, and I Rp her kinda rarely at the moment (waiting on development for Cata); but I do have at least 4 other characters that I can jump on to Rp with just about anyone! Kinda transitioning to mostly horde, due to constant irritants on Alliance side though. I'm set rather firmly in my healer role, but gently easing into tanking as well, with a couple, rather firm, nudges. I have two 80's, a mid 70 and several 35 - 45's. If anyone needs a hand leveling or gearing up at the lower levels, give me a shout! Carpe Incursio!!
