You may be a warrior, but I am a healer. Both in a literal and figurative sense. If I wished to be a warrior, I would have selected the appropriate options to do so.
I don't believe that too much time spent in either the material or spirit realm is any better for us or our situation. I for one am so heavily connected to the people of our community that I simply don't care to spend too much time in a place where I can't reach them right away. Additionally, I thought it was pretty clear by show of action that we all are still much too connected to the people in our home town due to the fact that we ALL have community service jobs.
If we were really these warriors we make ourselves out to be we might actually fight for what we want and believe in, instead of grabbing onto the "handouts" Tony does give us like welfare babies. Why haven't we tried to build or find our own locus yet? Wasn't that our initial goal/plan? And yet as soon as one was offered in trade even temporarily we grabbed it like children would. And because of that we still rely on everyone and anyone else until we grow the balls needed to stop relying on others. Tony's "stimulus package" worked perfectly, but now of course it's gone. Imagine that.
At any rate, each of us telling each other what we should do and are supposed to do has and will continue to get us nowhere. And by the way, when you do run off to do stuff by yourself (which frankly needs to decrease in frequency or desist entirely) you might be kind enough to share. Rarely does Fisher do anything alone besides drink and fight his Dad.
My current goal is to find a way to make us a team. If we cannot accomplish this, there is honestly little point in continuing on. I think this is a good time to go back to your book, do a little reading, and bring that knowledge back to your packmates to discover what we need to do together. It's not fair to criticize one packmates for anything whether it be falling asleep or running off on your own or not playing your auspice AT ALL (aren't you guys who are playing Irraka kinda acting a lot like Rahu?) if you can't then also at least have the courtesy to remind yourself of the flaws we each have shown. For instance, I really need to get my groove in the spirits side of things or just start calling myself Elodoth already.
Besides, if all we're going to do is argue, it's really pretty much over already isn't it? Take a chance on each other, get to know each other. Try to stop telling each other what to do and start listening to one another with an open mind. Be suggestive, not demanding.
