Even with our banter and misleadings, we managed to see some story unfold. I think it went well, if slightly predictable.
For a first session, though, very well.
I would only probably suggest that in the future you are sure you have all of your notes and preparation with you, so that the frustrations you expressed to me after the session are less likely to arise. Few though they were.
I am poised for the next session already, but admittedly am already a little apprehensive about changing characters three times between now and then.
As for almost stealing another character's thunder... Though it was not my attention to reach that way, I realized that I cannot change too much of myself, and am admittedly playing an actor, who is likely to have earned his current success by doing just that.
I actually gave myself a little pat on the back for stepping back when I was asked, because it played to what was on the sheet rather than what was in my head.
I have learned my lesson from werewolf that I MUST reference my sheet occasionally in order to keep vice/virtue in check and also to utilize a few of the choices I took so long in making.
You have compelled me to set a better precedent for myself as a player with this past session. Whether by accident, coincidence, or shear force of your Storytelling ability. I realize that says nothing about the story so far, but I was pleased with myself as a player for the first time since... Well, in a long time.
